My name is Jacqui and I am lucky to live in Papamoa Beach with my partner and two fur babies.  I have a son in the NZ Defence Force. Â
This store is a hobby gone crazy and I love it!Â
I have worked for 30+ years in the public service where my 'day job' is to house homeless elderly and people with disabilities. Whilst it is supremely rewarding, there is little opportunity for a lifetime public servant to show their creative side. Hide Vibe is my creative and style outlet... but above all.... its just FUN!Â
I adore all things fur and pretty much anything with a strong contrast. The uniqueness of every piece of hide, the unexpected tufts of hair that stick up or that go completely the opposite direction to the rest of the hide and the irregular patterns. I love every piece in the herd. Â
Its extremely important to me that the furs and leather are from ethical sources. Â
I have sourced items from Brazil, South Africa and Indonesia - all from approved suppliers. You can read more about my thoughts and work in this area under the Sustainability Tab (found under More Info)
