Zara is a messenger bag with massive style points! Perfect for everyday use.

The front has a one-of-a-kind cowhide panel with the ever popular turquoise hand tooled leather panel. The back is chocolate brown leather.

Wear across body or over shoulder. Reinforced stitching makes the strap versatile and durable.

the bold design on the front includes; a unique and hand picked cowhide panel, intricate leather work detailing and top stitching. The tooled leather has been hand painted with a washed out turquoise colour for a cool, rustic look.

Store Credits are issued for returns of items (assuming they are received within 14 days of purchase and arrive in new condition)

Defects & Faults

Our products are guaranteed against defects. If you believe your item is defective and wish to exchange it, you must notify us within 7 days of receiving the item, including a description and photos of the defect. We would like the opportunity to put this right for you. We will endeavor to replace the item if we have another in stock or alternatively, we will issue a store credit or a refund (excluding shipping cost).

Please note that scratches, brandings and occasional patches are a natural component of the cowhides and their tanning process and are not considered defects. Please inspect your items immediately upon delivery. Claims received after 7 days of delivery will not and cannot be processed.

Change of Mind Purchases

Please choose your items carefully. If for some reason you have changed your mind about your purchase, please let us know. We do not issue refunds in these instances but will consider a store credit so that you can select something else you prefer. The cost of returning the original item is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Hi & Welcome to my store!

My name is Jacqui and I am lucky to live in Papamoa Beach with my partner and two fur babies. I have a son in the NZ Defence Force.

This store is a hobby gone crazy and I love it!

I have worked for 30+ years in the public service where my 'day job' is to house homeless elderly and people with disabilities. Whilst it is supremely rewarding, there is little opportunity for a lifetime public servant to show their creative side. Hide Vibe is my creative and style outlet... but above all.... its just FUN!

I adore all things fur and pretty much anything with a strong contrast. The uniqueness of every piece of hide, the unexpected tufts of hair that stick up or that go completely the opposite direction to the rest of the hide and the irregular patterns. I love every piece in the herd.

Its extremely important to me that the furs and leather are from ethical sources.

I have sourced items from Brazil, South Africa and Indonesia - all from approved suppliers. You can read more about my thoughts and work in this area under the Sustainability Tab (found under More Info)

Gorgeous Bag

Brought this bag online. Speedy delivery of a quality item. It’s a gorgeous bag and perfect for my sister-in-laws birthday present. Will need to get a bag for myself next time 🤗❤️

It’s a pretty bag. But I did find the quality a little lacking. The strap was very thin and stiff. There were some scratches and nicks out of it. Which was upsetting as it was a present for my mum. Also the fur wasn’t very furry . It all just felt very thin.
